Delve

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 5, 2026

Delve is published by Nolan Joseph Connolly, an individual based in Texas, United States. This policy explains what information Delve collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain language on purpose. What we do not collect

How We Use Your Data

We use the data described above to:

We do not use your data to serve ads, and we do not sell it to data brokers or anyone else.

AI Processing Disclosure

Delve's personalized picks and in-app chat assistant are powered by third-party AI infrastructure providers: OpenRouter and the model providers it routes to (currently the Z.AI GLM model family), and OpenAI for search embeddings.

Here is exactly how that works:

Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share data only with the service providers who help us operate Delve, and only as needed for them to provide their service:

Each of these providers is bound by its own data-processing terms, and we use each one only to provide Delve. We may also disclose data if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Delve or our users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we'll notify you).

Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active, so the app can function and remember your history. We keep activity data (plays, saves, taps, chat transcripts) for as long as your account is active, plus a limited period afterward for backups and fraud prevention, unless you request deletion sooner. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data as described in the next section. Some data may be retained in an aggregated or de-identified form (for example, overall usage statistics) that can no longer be tied back to you. Your private generated picks are deleted with your account. Shared library lessons are separate editorial content.

Deletion and Your Controls

You are in control of your data:

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.

Children's Privacy

Delve is intended for users age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13, and the app is not directed at children under 13. If we learn that we've collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has used Delve and provided us data, contact us at support@delvelearning.app.

International Users

Legal bases for processing (GDPR-lite)

If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a similar jurisdiction, we process your data based on:

Your rights (GDPR-lite)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email support@delvelearning.app.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you're a California resident, you have the right to:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we don't sell or share personal information, there is no opt-out link to provide. To exercise any of these rights, email support@delvelearning.app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Delve changes. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. The "Effective date" at the top of this page always reflects the latest version.
